Keeping the "mission" essential

Exodus 14:31~And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians; and the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses...I was reading the book of Exodus and got stopped right here on this one passage and the Lord spoke some things to me I'd like to share.

If  leaders would lead the way Moses led the children of Israel to deliverance, the people would be "dazzled" by God's mighty acts but because we, as leaders, lead with personal doubt and much inhibition, the people remain discouraged and unable to see the salvation of the Lord.  Moses, did make many mistakes but he kept the mission of delivering God' s people in the forefront and never left/aborted the mission!  Like many of us fail to do.  We're leading whether behind a pulpit or chilling at home with family.  You are not ever not a leader unless removed by death.  You are God's general for life.  The church is in this crazy state of apostasy because its' leaders are failing to keep the mission essential.  We're too caught up in what's not important to God.  He cares about the deliverance of His people.  We stopped caring and have become callous and cynical about people.  No love/no compassion.  Cynacism will send us straight to hell.   When will we see the cloud by day and the fire by night again?  When will be show the people how amazing God really is.  Exodus 14:31...after they saw God's amazaing hand they feared the Lord; believed the Lord AND His servant Moses.  God wasn't just trying to be top dog.  He was actually elevating his leader so there would be a representative on earth to reflect His awesome glory and they people could follow.
